Say Anything

Any John Cusack fan who lived the 80s has a “Say Anything” moment that has survived 2 decades. For many people it is the image of Lloyd holding the boom box above his head with Peter Gabriel touching our souls. For me, it is the parking lot scene in the back of the supermarket. In a moment of complete and utter desperation, Lloyd finds himself getting answers in the most unlikely of places, the lowest common denominator.

say anythingFinding your voice on your social networks is essential to enjoying and participating in social media. As we have matured we have censored the pictures, status updates, comments we make. Finding your voice means holding your boom box above your head and “Saying Anything.” Speak from the heart and censor yourself less. Be true to your core values and beliefs. Update your staus with the meaningless details that we miss out on because we do not talk regularly. Tell me what you ate, how bad traffic was, how annoying the kids were today and which side of the bed you woke up on. Amongst the noise of our daily lives we get to know each other better and find common ground. Take the time to include updates about your business and what you are doing. Whatever you do, Remember you can “say anything” to us.
